Las Olas Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy Definitions: “Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Las Olas surf retreat, including postponing or rescheduling. “You” refers to the guest booking a Las Olas surf retreat. “We” refers to Las Olas Surfing for Women, a division of Manifesta Corp. It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their surf retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance.

Travel Cancellation Insurance: Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance through your travel agent or checking online for insurers who specialize in covering travelers like Yonder Insurance.

If you cancel or change your safari, Las Olas does not offer cash/check or credit card refunds for any reason. A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another surf retreat within two years of your original surf retreat date. We will gladly transfer your credit to another guest and/or Las Olas surf retreat. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply.

Cancellation fees are determined by the following schedule:

• If you cancel more than 90 days before your surf retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Las Olas surf retreat.

• If you cancel 60 – 89 days before your surf retreat start date, 70% of your payment may be applied to another Las Olas surf retreat. You will forfeit 30% of the price of your surf retreat.

• If you cancel 15 – 59 days before your safari start date, 40% of your payment may be applied to another Las Olas surf retreat. You will forfeit 60% of the price of your surf retreat.

• If you cancel 14 days or less before your surf retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury, or personal emergencies. We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Reservation Form and Participant Agreement, Release, and Assumption of All Risks Form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to your surf retreat start date, whichever comes later. Guests who fail to do so, may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.

If Las Olas is forced to reschedule a surf retreat due to restrictions imposed by health organizations or governmental agencies, you may reschedule to a later date after the restrictions are lifted at no extra cost to you.

If we cancel your Las Olas surf retreat, you may transfer your full Las Olas surf retreat payment to another Las Olas surf retreat, or you may request a refund of your payments to us, constituting a full settlement. Las Olas is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled surf retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
